Independent jewellery business Bradley’s Jewellers York, which was recently named Retail Jeweller of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards 2022, has added new designs to its hugely successful Yorkshire Rose collaborative collection with Fabergé.
Its latest addition, the Fabergé Yorkshire Rose Egg charm, is crafted from solid 18k gold and features a Yorkshire Rose emblem, decorated with hand-painted white and green enamel, with a central, brilliant-cut yellow diamond and six white diamonds. The charm can be hung from any necklace or bracelet thanks to a diamond-set bail loop, although Bradley’s Jewellers York is offering its customers an oval-shaped belcher chain as the ideal accompaniment.

The collaboration between Bradley’s Jewellers York and iconic luxury house, Fabergé, began in December 2021 and culminated in the launch of the Fabergé Yorkshire Rose Egg Surprise Locket in March 2022. This signature piece in the collection is a working locket that opens to reveal a sapphire and diamond Yorkshire Rose decorated with five enamelled leaves to represent the five regions of Yorkshire.
Bradley’s Jewellers York debuted the creation to the public at a gala evening attended by senior Fabergé figures at North Yorkshire-based stately home, Castle Howard, in April 2022. All the available Fabergé Yorkshire Rose Egg Surprise Lockets, priced at £7,000, sold out on the night.
Bradley continues: “From the moment we kickstarted our collaboration with Fabergé, the success has been phenomenal. Our debut range of Fabergé Yorkshire Rose Egg Surprise Locket pendants sold out immediately. We’ve replenished this piece and are introducing new designs, like the Yorkshire Rose Egg Charm, to allow more people to celebrate their Yorkshire roots.”
Looking ahead, Bradley’s Jewellers will continue to develop its Fabergé Yorkshire Rose collection alongside its own-brand Yorkshire Rose bridal and fine jewellery offering, which also boasts decorative elements in the shape of the White Rose emblem. Pieces currently in production include a Fabergé Yorkshire Rose Egg Pendant and a matching ring, bangle and pair of drop earrings.
This latest phase in the Fabergé for Bradley’s Jewellers Yorkshire Rose collection is part of an ambitious five-year plan to create an exclusive, one-of-a-kind Fabergé Yorkshire Rose Imperial Easter Egg, which will be handcrafted by esteemed Fabergé Workmasters, put on display locally and eventually auctioned.
Yorkshire is the largest county in the United Kingdom. The Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and the Peak District national parks lie within its borders. Its emblem is the Yorkshire White Rose – the seal of the English royal House of York – and the motif can be viewed widely across the area.
The new Fabergé Yorkshire Rose Egg Charm is available in 18k white, yellow and rose gold with an RRP of £3,720. Chain link bracelets and necklaces are sold separately.
